Humane Society Sumter County-SPCA

Your HS/SPCA saves adoptable animals from Animal Control, while raising $ for a GREEN shelter in Sumter County. It provides humane care in foster homes, animal cruelty investigations, public education, & Kibble on Wheels.

The Sumter County Florida SPCA operates one of the nation's few DART (Disaster Animal Rescue Teams) in rescue efforts of hoarding & national crises as hurricanes, wildfires or floods.

We do not have a shelter currently but have an Education Center / Office which does not house animals.
