Temple Shalom By The Villages, a Reform Congregation with over 600 members located in Oxford FL, is the focal point of a large, growing and vibrant multi generational Jewish community. Our membership is primarily drawn from The Villages and Sumter, Lake, Marion, Citrus & Alachua counties. We are accessible by golf cart from The Villages, & by car from the area and nearby Florida Turnpike and I75.
Our Congregation was founded in 2001, & our first regular Shabbat service was held in our current building in December 2006. Our Ark houses our eight-five year old European Torah and two additional Torah\'s donated by members. We have an active Sisterhood, Brotherhood, numerous activity groups, interfaith outreach and help to support Hospice with our popular Bingo game that is open the public.
